On Saturday, we woke up early to head to Shenzhen for a visit to Foxconn. Maybe you've never heard of Foxconn before, but you probably use a Foxconn product every single day, as Tiphany mentioned in her post. When we arrived, we pulled through the Foxconn gates and began to drive through their campus, a 2.5 square km property that functions as its own town. There are banks, restaurants, shops, dormitories, and the plant facilities.
Incredibly, after hosting us all morning, Foxconn hosted us for a traditional Chinese lunch, with everything from sausage and eggplant to sour melon soup to fried pumpkin cakes. Delicious!
